Mexico
In Mexico the people believed that instead of a tooth fairy coming and taking a mouse would come. The Mexicans said that a mouse named Ratoncito Perez would crawl into  the house and it would climb onto the bed and crawl under the pillow and grab the tooth in exchange for a gold coin. People described the mouse as the white fairy mouse.

In Nepal the kids thought it was bad luck if a bird takes or sees their teeth . They think that if a bird snatches their tooth then a new tooth will not grow in its place. To protect their teeth they would bury their teeth because it will be never seen or found by a bird.

Indonesia

When all the teeth is gathered they will stand at the front of their house facing the opposite way and throwing them backwards. If they throw their teeth straight onto the roof then their permanent teeth will be straight. If they throw it crookedly than their permanent teeth will be crooked.

American Indian Tribes.

The kids in the Cherokee tribe would run around the house then throw their teeth on the roof while reciting “ beaver put a new tooth in my jaw.” Kids in the Teton tribe would bury their teeth at the entrance of the lodge and if anyone walks over it then they would grow a new tooth. The mothers or grandmothers of the Dene Yellowknives tribe would put their children teeth in a tree and their families would come and  dance around the tree and that meant that the childs new tooth would be straight as a tree.

In conclusion you now now the different types of teeth traditions from the four countries that I have found most interesting  I have showed you. I hope you found it interesting and hope that you might try to do the traditions that I have choose.

On this game what you had to was to convert the decimals into a fraction or you had to convert the fraction into a decimal. For me I had my ups and downs but I managed to get some right because I understood what my teacher was saying but on the other hand I got the converting the decimals into fractions wrong because that was hard for . Next time I play this game i want to get all right but before that I want to learn my converting decimals to fractions.

On the basic facts test I did well in arranging the numbers from biggest to smallest , my addition , subtraction , multiplication , and my division . The things I need to work on is my place value and my < > =. What I do to improve is to do extra homework , work on my times tables for 30mins every day.

Walt : to learn your multiplication .

I was learning to my multiplication and what I had to do was fill the bar to the top and answer all the questions correctly. For me it was easy because I already knew all my times tables and that made it easier for me.

Authors Purpose

Walt: explain an author's purpose

In this game you had to find out what was the authors purpose of the text. For me some of the questions were easy but the others were a little confusing.  I got  a high score of $64,000 . The options you had was entertain , inform or persuade , and you only get three hints if you get stuck on the game. For me it was easy at times but it also had some challenges along the game. The hardest thing was the persuade because there were many different examples.

Walt: Plan  an investigation and display data

We had to do a survey and the maximum of people we had to ask was thirty people. I was investigating what were the children”s favourite t.v show.  I asked thirty- three kids from Glen Innes School  and my work was complete. For Regular Show twenty one students liked to watch it. 6 children like to watch Adventure time. 5 students like to watch Spongebob Squarepants.  For Victorious only one person like to watch it. The survey was easy and next time I want to do a survey about brands.
