Dyes in lollies

Walt: investigate dyes in lollies.

Method

1. Put your six jelly beans that are the same colours into a cup or a see through container.

2.Pour a little amount of lukewarm water into the cup or container.

3.Leave the beans to soak up for 3 to 4 minutes.

4. Stir it for about 30 seconds so the colour would come in.

5.Add a milliliter of vinegar to make the colour stronger.

6.Put cotton wool into it and take it out to see the colour.

7.Take the one jelly bean out of the cup to see what has happened to it.

8. Repeat the test if you want to .

Result : the result was good if you can ignore the smell ,but otherwise the colour turns out to be just like the lolly itself

Subtraction -Balance Equations

                                 

I was learning to solve subtraction by estimating or figuring the answer out. What you have to do is fill in the missing number and make the equation true.The game is about balancing the equations and making it true.To me it was a little diffcult but I managed to finsh it. I think I need more practice in this area . What I want to learn next is to add and subtract decimals.
